SINGAPORE PEPPOL SMP - TERMS OF USE

Singapore Network Information Centre (SGNIC) Private Limited has been appointed as the national registry of PEPPOL identity?s in Singapore by IMDA the PEPPOL authority for Singapore. As the registry, SGNIC operates and administers the Service Metadata Publisher (SMP) where such identities are registered and published. This TOU document sets out the Registration Policies, Procedures and Guidelines relating to PEPPOL identities as well as the usage of the SMP and the PEPPOL eDelivery network in Singapore.

  1. Application for Registration of PEPPOL Identities

    All applications for the registration of a PEPPOL ID must be made in the form and manner prescribed by SGNIC from time to time. The AP on behalf of the Participant is required to submit an online application to the SMP using the interface found at www.peppolsmp.sg

  2. Composition of PEPPOL Identity?s

    A typical PEPPOL identity created under the Singapore PEPPOL Authority will be as follows 0195:SGUEN200722935H. i.e. <<0195>>:<<2-character country code>><<3-character category code>><<Up to 25-character entity code>> Where 0195 is the Singapore ISO PEPPOL code, SG is the country code for country of business registration and UEN is the category of registrations and 200722935H is the registered business identity in the country of registration (i.e. UEN by ACRA in Singapore).     Note: PEPPOL follows the ISO15459 encoding guidelines requires that it must only contain characters and numeric digits from the invariant character set of ISO/IEC 646 (ISO 7-bit 157 coded character set).

  3. Eligibility Criteria for PEPPOL Identity

    A participant must be, at the point of application be a commercial entity registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), or equivalent in their country of business registration. The AP is required to furnish relevant authorization documents from participant company ("Letter of Authorization with -authorised signatory and company stamp) to enable creation and registration of the PEPPOL identity.

  4. SMP Database

    SGNIC maintains a public query-based access through a directory look up system connected to a searchable database, which contains the information on all the Singapore registered PEPPOL Participants details such as the PEPPOL identity, Participant Contact etc. will be displayed in the directory. The Participants document types, protocols and formats, for example BIS 2.0/BIS 3.0 Invoice types and supported formats and protocols will also be stored and displayed in the SMP.

  5. General Terms

    SGNIC shall have the right to amend the "TOU" from time to time upon thirty (30) days' notice of these amendments by posting the same on SGNIC website at http://www.peppolsmp.sg. The Terms of Use (TOU) (as the case may be) shall be deemed amended upon the expiry of such notice period and shall be binding and effective as against the Access Providers.
